Responsibility at Sisustus1.fi means practical actions and long-term choices that support more sustainable interiors. For us, responsibility is more than a trend: it is reflected in what we choose to sell, how we source our products and the customer experience we provide. We also take financial responsibility seriously and are pleased that our company has maintained an AAA credit rating from 2023 to the present. Our online store also carries the Key Flag label in recognition of its Finnish service!
Long-lasting products designed for professional use
Many of the products in our range are made for professional use, such as in hotels and other accommodation businesses. They meet the standards of luxury hotels and are designed to last for years, even with repeated industrial laundering.
This makes them particularly durable and environmentally sound choices for home use too: when a product lasts a long time, its life cycle is extended and fewer new purchases are needed. A durable product is a responsible choice from the outset.
European quality – close and reliable
Almost all our products are made in Europe and come from European brands whose production chains and responsible practices we trust.
We have personally visited many factories across Europe and have known our manufacturers personally for many years. This close, long-standing cooperation means we know exactly where and how the products are made, and can stand behind their quality and origin.
Working directly with our manufacturers also helps us ensure that products are made under ethical and safe working conditions and using environmentally sustainable practices. Responsibility then goes beyond certificates: it means real transparency and trust.
Environmentally conscious storage and production batches
We work sensibly and use resources efficiently:
- We order the most popular products in large batches a few times a year, allowing us to consolidate transport and reduce its environmental impact.
- We keep only small batches of specialist and slower-selling products in stock to avoid overproduction and waste.
- Many of our products, such as duvets and pillows, are vacuum-packed, so they take up less space in transport and storage. This also reduces emissions in the supply chain.
Packaging and logistics
Products are carefully packed at our Helsinki warehouse, and wherever possible we use recyclable and recycled materials. We avoid unnecessary packaging and plastic. Working with transport companies, we consolidate shipments and deliver them as sustainably as possible.
Transparent operations and customer focus
For us, responsibility also means fair customer service and transparent communication. We provide clear information about product features and delivery times, including when delivery takes longer than usual.
We want our customers to be able to make good, lasting choices easily and confidently.
Financial responsibility
Responsibility is not only about ethical and environmentally friendly actions; it also means taking financial responsibility. We are pleased that careful, long-term management has delivered results: our company has received the highest AAA credit rating every year from 2023 to the present. Our company has no payment default entries, and our equity ratio is over 94%.
We also want to help our customers make financially sensible purchases. We therefore offer several payment options and interest-free credit through our payment partners, so that everyone can choose the payment method that suits them best.
A substantial proportion of our products are of professional quality, giving them first-class durability that saves users money over the years.
