Shipping policy
1. Delivery methods and areas
We deliver orders to Finland, Åland and all EU countries, as well as the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Customers may also contact our customer service about deliveries to other countries, and we will check the options case by case. As a rule, free-delivery promotions do not apply to international deliveries.
Products are delivered to the address or pickup point selected when ordering, using the chosen delivery method. Ordered products can also be collected from our warehouse at Valimotie 21, 00380 Helsinki, once the customer has received a separate notification that the order is ready for collection. Collection is possible only if “collection from warehouse” was selected as the delivery method when ordering.
We reserve the right to change the delivery method selected by the customer for reasons such as an anticipated delay, strike, faster delivery route or a similar circumstance. The customer will be informed of any changes.
Our delivery partners include Posti, DB Schenker, PostNord, DHL and DPD. Hakonen handles furniture deliveries. For international deliveries, the carrier's local partner handles final delivery.
Hakonen handles home delivery of furniture. Hakonen customer service is responsible for home-delivery complaints concerning the home, furnishings or other property, structures or delivery problems. Sisustus1.fi is responsible only for complaints about the product purchased from and delivered by the Sisustus1.fi store, excluding all consequential damage, for which Hakonen Solutions is responsible. Home-delivery complaints must be directed to the appropriate party as explained above so that they can be processed. Sisustus1.fi's responsibility for complaints is always limited to the product being delivered. Hakonen Solutions handles complaints and any compensation under its own terms.

If damage occurs, take clear photographs and, where possible, report it while Hakonen's staff are still present and ask them to document the damage. Submit the report as soon as possible after the incident. Complete the information requested in the form, then follow Hakonen's instructions.
2. Delivery time
Products are stored and packed at Sisustus1.fi's Helsinki warehouse. If the ordered product is immediately available in our warehouse, it will generally be handed over to the carrier on weekdays within one (1) working day of receipt of the order.
We deliver products to the address or service point selected by the customer when ordering. Carriers may have to change the pickup point for reasons beyond our control, in which case the carrier will notify the customer. If the product is immediately available in our warehouse, the order is normally handed over to the delivery company within one working day on weekdays.
If delivery is expected to take longer than stated, we will notify the customer. If necessary, the customer may exchange the products for others of at least the same price. The order may also be cancelled if the customer wishes. The order's delivery time is determined by the product with the longest delivery time.
If part of an order contains products with a substantially longer delivery time than stock items, we will contact the customer to ask whether they would prefer to:
- wait for all products to arrive and receive them together, or
- receive the in-stock products immediately and the remainder in a separate later delivery.
If delivery is expected to be delayed for a stated reason, we will notify the customer as soon as possible. The customer may then choose to:
- exchange the delayed products for others of at least the same price, or
- cancel the delayed product and receive a full refund for it.
3. Delivery charges
Delivery charges depend on the selected delivery method and address, and are shown in the cart before the order is confirmed. Any free-delivery promotions apply only to domestic deliveries unless the promotion terms state otherwise.
Delivery charges are not refunded when a customer returns a product.
Returns are free of charge for the customer. The original delivery fee is not refunded upon return. If an order qualified for free delivery through an online store promotion, for example by exceeding a minimum order value, and a return brings the order value below that threshold or otherwise means the promotion's conditions are no longer met, a delivery charge of €6.90 will be deducted from the refund. Likewise, any products received as a promotional benefit must be returned in a saleable condition.
4. Prices and product reservations
All prices shown in the online store include VAT at 25.5%. We reserve the right to:
- change prices and delivery charges
- correct technical information
- update the product range
All information presented on the site is non-binding.
5. Warranties
All our products have at least a 6-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect use or washing contrary to the instructions.
The delivery note included with the shipment serves as the purchase receipt and warranty certificate. For warranty matters, contact us by email at info@sisustus1.fi and include your telephone number so we can contact you if needed.
6. Force majeure
Sisustus1.fi is not responsible for delivery delays or other obstacles to delivery caused by force majeure, such as:
- a strike or other industrial action
- a natural disaster
- a pandemic
- disruptions affecting carriers or subcontractors
- technical faults or other exceptional circumstances
In the event of force majeure, we reserve the right to change the delivery terms without prior notice. Sisustus1.fi is not responsible for any consequential or indirect damage that such delays may cause.
7. Acceptance of terms
By placing an order, the customer accepts these delivery terms and agrees to comply with them. We recommend always reading the current delivery terms before confirming an order. We reserve the right to update our delivery terms without prior notice. By ordering from our store, you accept all the terms.
