Compare our napkins: Luxus, Panama and embroidered models

The four napkin models compared here are all 100% cotton. Differences lie in weave, edge finishing, colours, embroidery and pack size. Choose for the intended use: the same model need not be the best fit for both an all-year dining room and a themed celebration.

Luxus or Panama for year-round settings?

No Problem Luxus napkins, 10 pcs are white cotton napkins with a woven Atlaskante border. Two edges are hemmed and two have selvedges. The listed size is approximately 53 × 53 cm. They offer a calm base for changing dishes and decorations.

No Problem Panama napkins, 10 pcs bring a linen-like woven appearance to cotton fabric. Colours are beige, grey and white, and all napkins in one set have the same colour. Made in Germany, the fabric weighs approximately 210 g/m² and uses mercerised, double-twisted cotton yarn. All four sides are hemmed.

Choose embroidery for the celebration

The crayfish-embroidered napkin adds the theme of a crayfish party to white cotton. The Christmas-bell embroidered napkin gives a white table a festive look. Both have a woven Atlaskante border; leave the embroidered corner visible when folding.

The embroidered models are available as one or ten pieces in the store. They measure 53 × 53 cm before washing and 50 × 50 cm afterwards. Check the selected quantity when ordering so one napkin is not confused with a pack of ten.

Which works at home and in a restaurant?

For home, choose a colour you can use for several celebrations and add embroidery for a particular theme. In a restaurant, year-round use, laundry rotation and reserves may matter more than a seasonal motif. Our restaurant textile guide helps plan napkins and tablecloths together.

If you are considering cotton and linen, our bedding material comparison gives background on fibre properties. In this napkin comparison, Panama is cotton; its appearance does not make it a linen product.

Questions about the range

Which napkin should I choose first?

Plain Luxus or Panama is a versatile starting point. Choose according to the surface, colour and finishing you want.

Can I mix Christmas napkins with plain ones?

Yes. A white plain model and Christmas embroidery can suit the same crockery. Try the fold and colours together before setting a large table.
