The Sisustus1.fi silk collection includes sheets, pillowcases, duvets and pillows from Butterfly Silk of Copenhagen. Mulberry silk feels smooth, and a satin weave gives the outer fabric a subtle sheen. Start by deciding whether you want to renew the surface that touches your skin or also the filling in your duvet and pillow.
A silk pillowcase is a separate cover that you can add to your existing pillow. The 50 × 70 cm pillowcases in the collection are made from mulberry silk and fasten with a zip. Check your pillow's dimensions before choosing. In the Butterfly Luxury silk pillow, both the outer fabric and filling are mulberry silk; the pillow measures 50 × 70 cm.
The collection includes flat sheets and duvet cover sets in white and grey. Choose the duvet cover to match the size of your duvet, and the flat sheet to suit the mattress and your preferred way of making the bed. Check the contents of the set and the pillowcase dimensions: they may differ from the size of separately sold pillowcases.
The Butterfly Luxury silk duvet measures 140 × 200 cm and contains 1000 g of mulberry silk filling. The outer fabric is also silk. The product is rated medium warmth. Suitability depends on your warmth needs and bedroom temperature; you can also compare down duvets and silk duvets.
Always follow the care label for the specific product. Washing instructions for a silk sheet do not automatically apply to a silk-filled pillow or duvet. For washable silk textiles, choose a suitable detergent and check the drying method for each product. Gentle handling helps preserve the feel of the outer fabric.
