Usage methods
- If you place the long side of the pillow in front of you, it will prevent you from rolling onto your stomach – for this reason, the pillow is also great for those who want to learn to sleep on their side.
- If you place the long side behind your back, it will prevent you from rolling onto your back, which can help reduce snoring.
- Most of us naturally sleep on our sides. We curl our legs up slightly and our arms in front of our bodies – as if our bodies were hugging themselves. There is a natural reason for this: the position resembles the position we were in before birth. It creates a feeling of security and peace.
Flossflake filling
Fossflakes' patented fiber filling is unique – its structure and properties are clearly different from other fillings. The filling consists mainly of polyethylene, a durable and breathable fiber whose small pores allow air to pass through particularly effectively. This is essential so that the products breathe effectively around the sleeper and the sleeping environment does not get too hot.
The filling in both the pillows and blankets is a mixture: 70% patented Fossflakes flakes and 30% polyester ball fiber.
The curved shape of the flakes promotes ventilation and gives the products long-lasting, ergonomic support. The shape maintains the fluffiness and plumpness of pillows and blankets significantly longer. If the filling flattens, it can easily be shaken back to its firm, sturdy shape.

Maintenance instructions
- The excellent properties of Fossflakes products are easily maintained – all you need to do is shake the product regularly to maintain its good fluffiness.
- Washing instructions: Machine wash at maximum 60°C. Avoid fabric softeners and detergents containing enzymes, as they can weaken the properties of the filling.

Drying instructions: Products can be air dried or tumble dried at low heat (e.g. wool or silk program). They cannot withstand high heat.
Remove the product from the machine immediately after the program ends. If you are not sure about the low heat drying of your machine, let the pillow and blanket air dry. - The filling is evenly distributed and does not clump, even if the products are washed frequently.

Summary of return and exchange rights
1. Free return and exchange
The return and exchange of saleable products is free of charge to the customer, provided that the customer complies with the following conditions:
- The customer must contact the seller before returning the item by email to info(at)sisustus1.fi within 14 days of delivery of the order.
- The return is made according to the instructions provided by the seller, using the return method or code provided by the seller.
Free returns do not apply to:
- Custom-made products
- Furniture or customer-specific products
- International orders (Orders delivered outside Finland)
- Hygiene products whose packaging or seal has been opened (see section 3 for more details)
The customer is responsible for any return costs for orders shipped outside of Finland. We recommend using a trackable and reliable delivery method.
The right of return also does not apply to any store covers that may be included in the campaigns. That is, the customer cannot, for example, return a mattress protector that was received as a store cover when purchasing a bed and receive a refund for the value of the product. Similarly, if the customer orders a product that comes with a store cover, the product/products that came as a store cover must also be returned in connection with the return or exchange, which must also meet the exchange or return conditions in accordance with the terms and conditions. The original product must also meet the exchange or return conditions in order for the exchange or return to be carried out.
If the customer returns the product without prior notice or without instructions from the seller, the customer is responsible for the costs of the return. In this case, the return must be delivered to the seller's warehouse in the manner of their choice.
2. Consumer's right of withdrawal
The consumer has the right, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (38/1978), to cancel their order in whole or in part within fourteen (14) days of receiving the product. The right of cancellation only applies to unused, in original condition and saleable products that are returned in the original, undamaged product packaging.
Products must be returned in the same condition as when they were delivered to the customer. Products with product tags or seals attached must be returned with these in their original place and intact.
The right of return does not apply to:
- Products that have been used, processed or otherwise modified.
- Products with product tags removed or broken.
- Hygiene products whose packaging has been opened or the seal has been broken.
- Custom-made products (for example, branded products and furniture).
- Furniture or custom products that are manufactured or delivered individually to the customer.
- Products that are not fit for sale
3. Right to return and exchange hygiene products
Hygiene products are not eligible for exchange or return once the product packaging has been opened or the product seal has been broken. This restriction is based on the industry standard for hygiene products and Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act, which defines restrictions on the right to return for health and hygiene reasons.
Hygiene products include, for example:
- Pillows and blankets
- Mattresses, mattress pads and covers
- Bedding (e.g. duvet covers, flat sheets and pillowcases)
- Beds
- Panties and similar intimate products
If the hygiene product is packaged in a sealed package, returns and exchanges are only possible if the seal is intact and the product has not been opened or used. If the seal of the hygiene product is broken, the product cannot be exchanged or returned for sale and no return or exchange can be made. Hygiene products can be exchanged or returned if their packaging and seal are intact in accordance with the normal return conditions.
4. Return deadlines and refunds
Returned products must be returned no later than 14 days after the customer has notified them of their right to return. The seller will refund the price of the product to the consumer within 14 days of receiving and checking the returned products. The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the customer for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
Original shipping costs will not be refunded unless the delivery or product is faulty.
Delivery terms and returns
The products are stored and packaged in our Helsinki warehouse. We deliver the products to the address or office chosen by the customer when ordering. If the product is immediately available in our warehouse, the order is delivered to the delivery company on weekdays normally within one working day.
If the delivery is estimated to take longer than stated, we will inform the customer and, if necessary, the customer can exchange the products for other products of at least the same price. If the customer wishes, the order can also be canceled. The delivery time of the order is the product with the longest delivery time.
Product prices include 25.5% VAT. We reserve the right to change the products, technical data and prices on the website. All information is without obligation.
Our delivery partners include Posti, DB Schenker, Postnord, DHL, and DPD. For international deliveries, the final distribution is carried out by the local distributors of the above-mentioned companies.
Right of return
The customer has the right to cancel their order or exchange part of it within fourteen days of receiving the product, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. The product to be returned or exchanged must be unused and in saleable condition, and packed in the original intact product package. For returnable products that meet the return conditions, we offer a free exchange and refund. Products with product tags attached must be returned unused with the attached tags in their original place.
Hygiene products can be exchanged and returned if their seal and packaging are intact. Otherwise, hygiene products cannot be returned or exchanged. If the hygiene product is packaged in a sealed package, the product cannot be exchanged or returned if the seal is broken. Hygiene products include pillows, blankets, covers, mattress pads, sheets, mattresses, beds and underwear.
If the customer wants to exchange or return the product, they must always first contact the seller by sending an email to info(at)sisustus1.fi so that return arrangements can be agreed upon. After contacting the seller by email, the seller will instruct the customer on the free return procedure. Free returns are valid for 14 days from the date of delivery of the order. Free returns do not apply to custom-made products, such as beds or named products. When exchanging a product, the seller must be contacted according to the instructions above so that free and quick arrangements can be made. If the customer returns the product without contacting them, the customer returns the products at their own expense by bringing them to the seller's warehouse or sending the products back via post or another carrier.
The right of return under the Consumer Protection Act is fulfilled in distance shopping where the customer has not had the opportunity to familiarize himself with the product.
Free returns mean that you can return the product without having to pay for the return separately, for example, no postage is charged. The delivery fee (i.e. the original fee for sending the order to you) is not refunded unless the product delivered is faulty.
Guarantees
All our products have a minimum 6-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use or washing contrary to instructions. You will receive a package with the delivery, which serves as a receipt for your purchase and a warranty certificate. Force Majeure
The seller is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or for indirect disadvantages caused by the incorrect condition of the products or delayed delivery. The seller reserves the right to change its delivery terms. Before ordering, the customer must familiarize himself with the delivery terms in force at any time. By ordering, the customer accepts the delivery terms.
Responsibility and recyclable packaging
It is very important to us that our operations are as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible. That is why we strive to purchase products in large quantities and together with other orders to minimize the need for transportation.
Product reviews
The customer will receive an automated product review request approximately 7-14 days after placing the order. From this email, the customer can leave a review for the products they have purchased anonymously. Product reviews can be used in marketing communications anonymously or using a nickname created by the customer. If the reviewer has used their full name as a nickname, the nickname will be changed to just their first name in marketing communications.
We will draw 1 winner from among the reviewers every month, to whom we will deliver a product prize.
Our product review provider software allows you to leave a review even without having ordered the product in question, by going to the product page and leaving a review directly in the review field. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the 100% authenticity of all product reviews. However, it is assumed that the number of fake reviews is extremely small compared to the total number.
Payment
Our payment service partner is the large Canadian e-commerce platform Shopify payments together with the large American payment intermediary Stripe. In addition, numerous other payment options are available, including Klarna, credit cards such as Amex, Visa & Mastercard, as well as online bank payments and Paypal. Pay-later and installment payments are offered by Klarna-payments. By answering a few easy questions, you can easily identify yourself in the service and choose the payment method that suits you best.
Delivery time
We generally deliver products ordered from our online store within one business day of ordering. For products that are not in stock at the time of ordering, a separate delivery time is stated on the product page. However, the delivery time may change depending on the product's stock situation. We will contact the customer if the delivery time is significantly longer than normal.
Delivery method
Our delivery partners are DB Schenker, Postnord, DHL and Posti. Hakonen is our partner for bed deliveries.
Pick up from store
Customers also have the option to pick up their order from our warehouse in Helsinki (Valimotie 21, 00380 Helsinki) on weekdays between 9 am and 4 pm. Your order is available for pick-up when you have received an email notifying you that your order is ready for pick-up. When picking up your order from our warehouse, you must provide your last name and order number. There are no delivery costs when picking up.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs will be added to product orders depending on the size of the package. The cost will be determined when the product is ordered. According to the campaign terms, free shipping is automatically activated for the order if the conditions are met. However, free shipping is not available for freight products, such as beds and furniture. The availability of free shipping varies from time to time.
